Üveitli Hastaların Lökomotor Sistem Bulguları Yönünden Değerlendirilmesi

THE EVULA TION OFLEUKOMOTOR SYSTEM FINDINGS IN PA TIENTS WITH UVEITIS
In this study, the frequency of leukomotorsystem disease was studied in 78 patients with anterior and anteroposterior uveitis.
After clinical and radiological examination, 16 patients (20.5%) were found to have rheumatic disease.
5 (31.3%) of the 16 patients with rheumatic disease had Behcet's disease, and the rheumatic manifestation was sacroilitis in
four patient, while being peripheral anhritis in the remaining one. 2 patients (12.5%) had definite anklyosing spondylitis, 2 patients
(12.5%) fulfilled the criteria of probable ankylosing spondylitis. Radiological sacroilitis was found in 6 patients (37.5%)
and 1 patient had enthesopathy suggesting possible Reiter disease.
HLA-B27 tissue typing of these 16 patients with rheumatic manifestations showed that 9 patients (56.3%) were HLA-B27 positive.
Most of the HLA-B27 negative (5 of 7) patients were found to have Behcet's diseaseKeywords: Uveitis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Sacroilitis, HLA-B27
