OCULAR LOCALISA TION OF PIGMENTA TION IN OCULODERMAL MELANOCYTOSIS
Twelve patients with oculodermal melanocytosis(nevus of Ota, congenital ocular melanocytosis) were investigated
for the localisation and density of ocular pigmentation, the increase in intraocular pressure and the malignant transformation.
We found that a spesific type of ocular pigmentation did not exist for ODM because in all of our patients ocular
pigmentation was in the form of irregular patches in the conjunctiva and sclera whereas in iridocorneal angle it was
diffuse. Except two patients, intraocular pressures were between normal ranges and glaucomatous optic disc or perimetric
