EXPERIMENTAL SCLEROPLASTY AND LAMELLAR KERATOPLASTY AFTER LONG-TERM PRESERVATION
OF SCLERA AND CORNEA IN GLYCERIN
We used the scleral and corneal homografts stored for one year in scleroplasty and lamellar keratoplasty to evaluate
their usefulness when needed and in emergencies. We performed scleroplasty on the right eyes and lameller keratoplasty
on three of the left eyes of four dogs. Three months later, the eyes were enucleated and examined macroscopically
and histologically. We think that using these simple and practical preservation methods more commonly will be of
