THE RESULTS OF THE CONJUNCTIVODACRYOCYSTORHINOSTOMY OPERATIONS
12 patients with canalicular obstruction and 18 patients with recurrent dacryostenosis had conjunctivodacryocystorhinostomy
operation using Jones pyrex tube in "SB Ankara Hospital Eye Department" between April 1991 and June
1993. In postoperative period most of the problems were related to the position of the tube and they were treated with
early manuplation. The result of the surgery was successful in 29 of the patients. One of the patient came back after the
tube was dislocated for 2 months and didn't accept reoperation. Success rate of the surgery was 96.67%.Keywords: Conjunctivodacryocystorhlnostomy, Jones pyrex tube
