Psödofakik Olgularda Postoperatif Dönemde Binaküler Fonksiyonların Değerlendirilmesi

EVALUATION OF BINOCULAR FUNCTIONS IN PSEUDOPHAKIC PATIENTS POSTOPERATIVELY
In this study, 52 cases, to whom cataract extraction was applied unilaterally (in 30) and bilaterally (in 22) and
intraocular lens was implanted to posterior chamber, were evaluated as to binocular functions by synoptophor prospectively
In the postoperative period. At the end of the first month, average vision was 5/10 and the lowest vision was 3/10.
Average vision at the end of the 3rd month was 8/10.
At the end of the first month, simultaneous perception was present in all patients, fusion in 7.7%, supression in
84.6%, and diplopia in 7.7%. Three months later, fusion was present in 92.3% of the patients and stereopsis were
determinedin 75%. No difference was determined between binocular functions of the patients with unilateral and bilateral
pseudophakia.
In postoperative period, a development in binocular function as well as increase in monocular vision has been
