TOXOPLASMIC RETINOCHOROIDITIS AND CHOROIDAL NEOVASCULAR MEMBRANE
Toxoplasmic retinochoroiditis may cause loss of vision during active phase or by means of developing several
complications. In this study we retrospectively reviewed the angiograms and the charts of 16 cases of toxoplasmic
retinochoroiditis in the Retina deparment of our clinic. Patients were classified as inactive scar, active retinochoroiditis or
choroidal neovascular membrane. Two patients who had had choroidal neovascular membrane were reviewed in detail
with discussion of the treatment of this rare complication.Keywords: Toxoplasma, retinochoroiditis, choroidal neovascular membrane
