THE RESULTS OF CONJUNCTIVODACRYOCYSTORHINOSTOMY WITH
JONES LACRIMAL CANALICULAR BYPASS TUBES
Twenty-two patients (22 eyes) underwent conjunctivodacryocystorhinostomy operation with Jones pyrex tube between
October 1992 and April 1994 In Ankara Numune Hospital 1st Eye Clinic. After an average postoperative follow-up
time of 15.6 months, functional success rate was noted as 90.9%. During follow-up, 6 tube replacement operations were
performed on 5 patients. In one case the tube was remowed by the 2nd month postoperatively due to unsuitable hygienic
conditions and recurrent conjuctivitis and during the 22 months follow-up of this patient no epiphora was present and
