POSTOPERATIVE REFRACTIVE RESULTS OF INTRAOCULAR LENS IMPLANTATION;
POWERS DETERMINED BY BIOMETRIC MEASUREMENT
Eighty-nine eyes of eighty-four patients to which intraocular lenses were implanted after the dioptry was
determined by biometric measurement, were evaluated about the postoperative refraction errors. The patients were
classified into 1.00 D classes, according to their residual refractive errors, their spherical equivalencies had been
calculated if they had astigmatizm. The results were compared with the results of seventy-one eyes having cataract to
which intraocular lens implanted without biometric measurement by using verified logistic regression analysis. There
were no statistical differences between groups except the cases which had become emetrop.Keywords: Intraocular lens, Biometry, Cataract surgery.
