Konkomitan Horizontal Şaşılık Olgularında Cerrahi Tedavi Sonuçlarımız

In this study, the results of 51 surgically treated cases with concomitant horizontal squints investigated at the
Department of Ophthalmology of the Dicle University, between 1990-1993. 52.94% of the cases were alternating type
and 47.06% of the cases were monocular type, recession t-resection to one eye was the most frequent procedure that
has been performed (76.48% of the cases). Postoperative amount of deviations were -3 in 1.96% (Consecutive
exotropia), between 0-5 In 86.28% and above 6* in 11.76% of the cases. In postoperative period, subconjunctival
cysts in 3.92% and conjunctival suture separation in 1.96% of all the cases were observed.Keywords: Concomitant horizontal squint, Squint surgery
