CHRONIC RENAL FAILURE AND EYE NEURO-OPHTHALMIC COMPLICATIONS
Main neuro-ophthalmic findings of chronic renal failure are transient or permanent visual loss and diplopia. These
findings are usually related either to chronic renal failure itself, or to the cause of chronic renal failure, or to the
treatment of failure (dialysis). Also polyneuropathies (pupillary or peripheric) can be seen.Keywords: Chronic renal failure, Hypertension, Anemia, Uremia, Dialysis,
