PUPIL IN MIGRAINE CASES
Pupillary diameter, pupil cycle time (PCT), and relationship between age and pupillary diameter in 59 migraine cases
and 50 healty volunteers were investigated to detect whether pupillary changes were present in patient with migraine.
Also, possible relationships of some migraine parameters (duration of migraine disease, pain intensity, disability, pain
frequency and pain duration) with pupillary diameter and pupillary cycle time were investigated. Pupillary diameter was
greater in migraine group than control group (p<0.025), but there was no significant difference between two group for
pupil cycle time. Positive correlation between migraine duration and pupil cycle time (r-0.51), and between disability and
pupillary cycle time (r-0.33) were found.Keywords: Migraine, Pupil cycle time
