ABD, ANKARA Choroidal neovascularization is development of new capillaries, that extends from the choroid through a break in Bruch’s membrane into the subretinal space. Neovascular membranes are most common in the posterior pole and often cause permanent loss of central vision secondary to serous and hemorrhagic detachment of the macula.
