Skleral Fiksasyonlu Arka Kamara Lens Yerleştirilmesinde Yeni Bir Teknik

Managing the implantation of PC.IOL. with scleral fixation more practically and less cost effective was aimed in this study.
The PC.IOL. with transskleral fixation was implanted to be used 27 gauge handled straight needle whose bevel with a hole and by using 9/10 polyproplene suture to eleven patients with ages ranged from 4 to 65 years, 4 of which were women, 7 were men.
Of 11 patients , in two minimum hemorrhages occured into vitreous. In one case the cut suture happened.
It was concluded that both PC.IOL. implantation with scleral fixation and dislocated IOL can successfully be treated more practically and less expenses with a 27 gauge needle that has a hole in the bevel loaded with the suture.Keywords: Transskleral IOL fixation, 27 gauge handled straight needle that has a hole in the bevelTurkiye Klinikleri Oftalmoloji 1997, 6:140-142
