The mean follow-up was 28.5±11.1 months and mean preoperative intraocular pressure was 22.63±5.31 mmHg. During early postoperative period 11 eyes (20%) had an intraocular pressure greater than 20 mmHg and 3 of these needed medication. Postoperative IOP was 14.60±3.41 mmHg on their last control. The difference between preoperative and postoperative average IOP was statistically significant (p<0.05). The most common complication in early postoperative period was fibrinoid reaction (28%) and posterior synechias (22%) during the late postoperative period. As a result, intraocular pressure of combined surgery applied patients should be controlled regularly especially during the early postoperative period, eventhough mitomycin-C is used. Keywords: Cataract, Glaucoma, Combined surgeryTurkiye Klinikleri J Ophthalmol 1998, 7:88-91
