Our Results Of Posterior Chamber Intraocular Lens Implantation Intraumatic Cataract Cases

* Dr.,Dicle Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Göz Hastalıkları AD, Arş.Gör., In traumatic cataract, ECCE with posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation was performed to 12 eyes of the 12 patients in ophthalmology department of Dicle University Faculty of Medicine between October 1994-June 1995 and the results were evaluated. 10 of them (83.3%) were males and 2 of them were females (16.7%). 9 patients (75%) had perforated eye trauma and 3 had (%25) blunt eye trauma. Preoperative vision ocular was between P+P+EH-4mCF. Keratic stria-corneal edema in 7 cases (58.3%), iris pigment on IOL in 6 cases (550), fibrinous anterior chamber reaction in 5 cases (%41) and posterior synechiae in 3 cases (%25) were found as postoperative complications. Postoperative vision ocular was 0.5 or more in 7 cases (58.3%) and 0.1-0.4 in 4 cases (33.3%)Keywords: Ocular trauma, Cataract, ECCE,
