How Should Be The Selection Of Intra Ocular Lens In Case Ofposterior Capsular Rupture?

We have studied on 56 senile cataract patients who developed posterior capsular rupture or zonular dialysis during planned extra capsular cataract extraction and posterior chamber intra ocular lens implantation surgery. We studied on the occurrence time and location of rupture also how to make intraocular lens selection. We observed their results and complications. We found results of posterior chamber lens were better than the anterior chamber lens. However lens selection must be planned after a good evaluation of the zonulo capsullar support and size of the rupture.Keywords: Posterior capsular rupture,
