Basedow-graves, Myasthenia Gravis And Thymolipoma In One Case(case Report)

Dahiliye Kliniği,*** Prof.Dr.,Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Patoloji AD,**** Dr.,Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Patoloji AD, ANKARA 34 year old male patient, who has been taking antithyroid therapy (propylthiouracil) because of Basedow Graves; has been taken under investigation with complaint of diplopia, blurred vision, ptosis of left eye lid and limited left lateral gase. Both pyridostigmine test and EMG have been found in accordance with Myasthenia Gravis. As far as abnormalities of thymus gland frequently accompanies Myasthenia Gravis, mediastinal tomography has been accomplished and a thymic mass has been found which showed characteristics of Thymolipoma histopathologically do, it is known that Basedow Graves is an autoimmune disease and can been seen together with Myasthenia Gravis, it is possible that Thymolipoma can also accompany these two entities as in these case.Keywords: Basedow Graves, Myasthenia Gravis,
