The ages ranged from 1 to 20 (media 9.1 years). 16 cases (51.6 %) were bilateral. Strabismus (23.4 %) and nystagmus (27.7 %) were the most common ocular pathologies accompanying congenital cataract. The most common visual rehabilitation of aphakia was posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation (PCIOL) (63.8 %). The main postoperative complication was posterior capsul opacification in 23 eyes (48.9 %). Best corrected postoperative visual acuity was better than 0.1 in 23 eyes (67.6 %) and 0.5 or more in 10 eyes (29.4 %). There was binocular single vision with Bagolini glasses in 15 eyes (31.9 %). The older age during the operation, ocular pathology accompanying cataract, unilaterality, the long duration between the two operation in bilateral cases, posterior capsul opacification are assosiated with poor visual prognosis. Early diagnosis, implantation of PCIOL and ambliyopia treatment will improve the visual prognosis. Keywords: Congenital cataract, Nystagmus,
