Results Of Combined Phacoemulsification And Trabeculectomy

* Prof.Dr.,GATA Göz Hastalıkları AD,** Yrd.Doç.Dr.,GATA Göz Hastalıkları AD, ANKARA Postoperative results of 24 eyes operated with combined phacoemulsification and trabeculectomy (phacotrabeculectomy) technique were evaluated. Mean follow-up was 9.7 months with a minimum of three months. Intraocular pressures were determined with applanation tonometry in the first day, first week, first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth months postoperatively and compared with preoperative intraocular pressure. Postoperative intraocular pressure control was attained in 22 eyes (91.6%). Postoperative uncorrected visual acuity was 20/40 and over in 21 eyes (87.5%).Keywords: Phacoemulsification, Cataract, Glaucoma,
