Results Of The Treatment In Involutional Lower Eyelid Entropion

In this study, we evaluated the results of Wies and Qickert techniques performed in involutional lower eyelid entropion.
This study was performed on 16 eyes of 14 patients operated on from December 1995 to April 1997. Nine patients were utilized Wies' technique in 9 cases (11 eyes) and five patients were utilized Quickert ' technique.
All cases did not suffer from any complaints. During follow-up period no recurrence was detected.
Wies ' and Quickert ' methods are effective surgical methods which could be easily performed on patients having involutional lower lid entropion, whose lower lid retractors were partly intact.Keywords: Involutional entropion, Wies, QuickertTurkiye Klinikleri J Ophthalmol 1999, 8:90-92
