Forty eyes of forty patients were enrolled in the study. Extracapsular cataract surgery were performed to all eyes. Computerized corneal topography were taken before and 3rd day, 2nd week, 1st , 2nd months after surgery.
All postoperative topographies were characterized by vertical steepening, nasal and temporal flattening. These changes were tapered quickly in the postoperative early period. At the end of postoperative 2nd month, corneal topographies were similar to those of preoperative topographies.
Important level corneal topography changes are occurred after cataract surgery. Therefore, these changes regress to normal by postoperative 2nd month. Keywords: Cataract surgery, cornea,
