Case Report: Optic nerve head drusen may lead to subtle blurring of the disc margins and give rise to a pseudo-papilledema appearance, or it may masquerade as glaucoma due to associated nerve fiber layer type of visual field defects. Two patients who were referred to the Glaucoma Clinic, İzmir Atatürk Research and Training Hospital with the diagnosis of primary open angle glaucoma, were diagnosed to have optic nerve head drusen. Their medical treatment was discontinued, and the patients were followed for 12 months during which no progress was noticed.
Conclusion: Correlation between visual field defects and optic nerve head should be sought before the diagnosis of glaucomatous optic neuropathy is rendered, and optic disc drusen should be included in the differential diagnosis of patients with elevated optic nerve heads and nerve fiber layer type visual field defects. Keywords: optic disc drusen,
