We investigated to efficacy of different concentration povidone-iodine solutions which placed on the eye immediately before ophthalmic surgery. In this study three group patients each group consist of 30 eyes of 30 patients were received different concentrations (1%, 2.5%, 5%) povidone-iodine. The conjunctival cultures were taken each patient, before and after the placed povidone-iodine. There was no difference for the antimicrobial potency between different concentration of povidone-iodine solutions (p>0.05).Keywords: Povidone-iodine, Concentration,
