Bilateral optic disc anomalies present in infancy with poor vision and nystagmus, whereas unilateral optic disc anomalies present during the preschool years with sensory esotropia. These anomalies must be known well, because visual prognosis depends on the type of congenital optic disc anomaly. Keywords: Optic nerve, Congenital anomaliesTurkiye Klinikleri J Ophthalmol 2003, 12:53-60
