Polyethylene implants are stable, flexible, porous, biocompatible materials that are used for aesthetics and reconctructive procedures. We used an en bloc polyethylene implant to reconstruct a large trauma-induced midfacial bone defect and achieved orbital curvature. Successful restoration of anatomical integrity produced satisfactory aesthetics and function.
