aGöz Hastalıkları AD, Çukurova Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, ADANA Thirty-years old female patient followed in urology clinic was examined carefully and the other detailed systemic investigations were made. On her ophthalmological examination, two retinal astrocytic hamartomas were detected in the right fundus. Computed tomography revealed calcified hamartomas at the supependymal area and foramen monro bilaterally. Tuberous sclerosis was thought to be the diagnosis by evaluating other sytemic findings and the family history. As a result tuberous sclerosis should be evaluated systematically and in a multidisciplinary manner. Diagnostic criterias of the disease should be taken into consideration in order to make the diagnosis easier and to begin the management early. Keywords: Tuberous sclerosis; eye manifestations; hamartoma; diagnosisTurkiye Klinikleri J Ophthalmol 2007, 16:69-72
