aGöz Hastalıkları AD, Marmara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, İSTANBUL Although Coats disease is rather easily diagnosed when presented in clinic in childhood, it is diffucult to make differential diagnosis when it is a presenting symptom in adulthood. Here we aimed to present the diagnostic criteria of two cases who were followed with the diagnosis adulthood Coats disease. Both cases presented to our clinic with decrease invisual acuity Ophthalmological examination revealed diffuse unilateral hard exudates temporal to the macular area. Floeresein angiography (FA) showed diffuse telengiectatic vessels, leakage and capillary dropout area. Adult Coats disease should be kept in mind in cases with exudative retinopathy, even though they are observed in adult ages. Keywords: Coats disease, exudative retinopathiesTurkiye Klinikleri J Ophthalmol 2007, 16:212-216
