Mean age of the patients was 54 years and mean follow up was 16 months. Results and Conclusion: Most frequent cause of facial paralysis was cerebello-pontine angle tumors (64%). Two implants were changed due to exposition; one was changed due to infection. Migration was observed in two implants, but did not necessitate re-operation. Ptozis was observed in two patients in late follow ups. Redness and soreness of the eyes were the most frequent patient complaints. Most frequent surgeon complaint was the noticeable borders of the implant under the lid skin. Conclusion: In conclusion, both functional and symptomatic amelioration was achieved with the described technique.
