Magnetic Resonance Findings Of Congenital Iris And Coroid Coloboma Of Five Cases

Coloboma is one of the congenital ocular malformations presenting important diagnostic and therapeutic problems. Colobomas have a wide variety range of presentations. Combined ophthalmologic and radiological evaluation contributes to identify these lesions successfully and differentiate them from other ocular pathology. We present Magnetic Resonance Imaginary findings of this anomaly, which were seen in 5 persons of the same family in this report and also we emphasized to the importance of radiological examinations in the diagnosis of this ocular malformation.Keywords: Coloboma, congenital, magnetic resonance imagingTurkiye Klinikleri J Ophthalmol 2008, 17:54-56
