Long-term Follow-up Of A Case With Plateau Iris Syndrome After Argon Laser Iridoplasty

Plateau iris syndrome is characterized by primary angle-closure without pupillary block that is not relieved by peripheral iridotomy. Ultrasound biomicroscopy has enabled an easier diagnosis of this clinical entity. In this case report, plateau iris syndrome was discussed in detail and the long-term result of the argon laser iridoplasty -the contemporary treatment approach- which is not much reported in literature was declared.Keywords: Glaucoma, laser surgery, irisTurkiye Klinikleri J Ophthalmol 2008, 17:70-74
